Disc thickener is a kind of pulp concentration equipment independently developed and designed according to the practical experience accumulated by our factory in the design and manufacture of disc filter for many years, the advanced technical experience at home and abroad, and the actual situation of domestic paper enterprises.The equipment is a continuous rotary concentration equipment, which is mainly used for dehydration and concentration of mechanical wood pulp, waste pulp, reed pulp, bamboo pulp, pulp and straw pulp with low freeness (high beating degree), short fiber or high pulp concentration.

Structure principle of disc thickener:

This machine is mainly composed of trough, upper cover, main shaft, sector plate, washing device and transmission device. See the general drawing of the equipment for its detailed structure.

1.Tank body: the tank body includes three parts: pulp inlet tank, intermediate tank and pulp outlet tank. After the pulp enters from the pulp inlet tank, it is continuously concentrated in the tank body and flows to the pulp outlet. After overflow, it is discharged from the pulp outlet tank.The tank body adopts downstream structure and is welded by steel plate and section steel.

2.Upper cover: it is welded by steel plate. There is a window on the cover plate. Open the movable cover plate to observe the operation of each part.When the equipment is overhauled or the filter screen is replaced, it can be removed through the lifting lug on the cover body.

3.Filter plate: assembled by 8 stainless steel sector plates, covered with stainless steel filter screen, mesh 40 ~ 60 mesh, sector filter plate is installed on the outer diameter of the main shaft, and connected with the main shaft by bolts, with firm structure and convenient assembly and disassembly.

4.Screen washing device: high pressure water of 0.6-0.7 MPa is sprayed from the ultra-thin self-cleaning nozzle on the spray pipe to wash the slurry adhered on the screen surface, and wash the screen, so as to restore the filtration capacity of the screen.Both ends of the main spray pipe are G3 "pipe threads, and the angle of the main spray pipe can be adjusted by rotation to change the position of the nozzle.

5.The transmission device is mainly composed of suspended solid shaft reducer, belt wheel variable frequency motor, torque arm, etc. by adjusting the speed of variable frequency motor, the filter disc speed of thickener can be adjusted to meet the process requirements of concentration process.
